Aregbesola explains why passport applicants experience difficulties

The 10th of October 2022 has been designated as a public holiday by the federal government.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the interior minister, said in a statement that the occasion will celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Mawlid Celebration in remembrance of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

Aregbesola thanked all Muslims for participating in the event this year, both at home and abroad.

He urged everyone in Nigeria to adopt the deep spiritual virtues of love, patience, tolerance, and perseverance that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) displayed, saying that doing so would ensure peace, security, and harmony in the nation.

He urged Nigerians, especially Muslims, to abstain from acts of violence, lawlessness, and other criminal behaviour. The Minister said, “As the indisputable leader of our race, we must demonstrate responsible leadership in Africa”

Aregbesola exhorts all Nigerians, and the youth in particular, to put an end to all divisive tendencies in the nation. to join forces with President Muhammadu and be proud of the principles of hard labour and a peaceful demeanour toward all people, whatever of creed, ideology, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity.

He sent his best wishes to Nigerians and all Muslims for a joyous Eid.
