All political parties that took part in the recently ended general elections, according to Living Faith Church Bishop David Oyedepo, solicited his prayers.
Although he prayed for them, the clergy member who made the claim during a live Sunday service claimed he was unable to respond to the pleas.
“There is no party in Nigeria that was running that didn’t come to me for prayers, not one. I can’t answer the prayer, I can only pray for you.
“Whether you are a member of a church or not, without your faith Papa’s prayer won’t do nothing,” he said.
This comes after an audio recording of a supposed conversation between the man of God and Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, went viral.
The recording that is currently making the rounds on social media features Obi pleading with Oyedepo to get out the vote for him, stating that “this is religious war.”
