Founder of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, discusses reasons behind not paying ten percent as tithe to God.
During his address to church members on Sunday, David Ibiyeomie revealed his perspective on paying ten percent of his income as tithe, stating that he believes “God would flog him” if he were to do so.
He characterized the refusal to pay tithe as a form of greed, explaining that individuals who neglect this mandatory donation often struggle to live their lives.
“In fact, these days, I don’t even pay ten; my P.A. is there. I pay far beyond ten for every money I get,” Ibiyeomie declared.
While he did not disclose the exact percentage, he affirmed that his tithe surpasses fifteen percent and that he operates on a different level. He emphasized that if he were to pay ten percent, God would chastise him.

“For me, paying ten percent as tithe is not enough. You pay ten percent, which is the recommended amount, but I operate on another level,” he added.
It is worth noting that Ibiyeomie recently faced criticism for expressing his disapproval of white garment churches worldwide.
