UK Conservative Leader Kemi Badenoch Vows to Deport Nigerian, Other Illegal Migrants Under Trump-Style Border Plan

UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch has pledged to adopt a deportation strategy inspired by former U.S. President Donald Trump’s immigration policies if her party returns to power.

In a video message obtained by PulseNets and posted on X (formerly Twitter), Badenoch declared:

“Let me be absolutely clear — if you are in Britain illegally, you will be detained and deported. No excuses.”

The Conservative leader further announced the creation of what she called the “Removals Force,” a new unit reportedly designed to function like U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“Our new Removals Force will deport 150,000 illegal migrants every year,” she said. “Today, I’m unveiling our Radical Borders Plan — the toughest border reforms in British history.”

According to data reviewed by PulseNets, if Badenoch’s proposal is implemented, it could result in the deportation of up to 750,000 illegal immigrants within five years — a figure that has already stirred strong reactions across the UK’s political and humanitarian circles.

Born in Wimbledon, South West London, in 1980 to Nigerian parents, the 45-year-old politician has maintained a hard-line stance on immigration since taking over as leader of the Conservative Party.

PulseNets recalls that Badenoch has consistently criticised Nigeria’s governance system, describing the country’s corruption level as “a warning example” for Britain. She has also voiced discomfort with the increasing number of Nigerian nationals seeking UK citizenship.

In a previous statement in January, Badenoch told PulseNets that her commitment to tighter immigration laws was driven by a desire to “ensure Britain never slides into the same structural decay that crippled Nigeria.”
