Nigeria Air Force (NAF) fighter jets that was deployed to fight insecurities in Zamfara have succeeded in neutralizing scores of bandits believed to part of a notorious bandits’ kingpin, Bello Turji in Zamfara forest.
According to a pulsenet correspondent the bandits were neutralized during a surprise attack by the air force troops of Operation Forest Sanity in the State.
The Strategized attack of the air force troops was carried out by two Nigerian Air Force, fighter jets following credible intelligence and verified information.
According to a defence intelligence source, the NAF jets released their missiles at the Fakai area, believed to be the residence of the notorious bandits’ kingpin, Turji.
There were said to be alot of casualities but then “As at the moment, we can’t give the actual casualty figure,” the source said.
