The Department of State Security Services (DSS) has released the former EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
PulseNets reports that this is after over 134 days in custody.
According to presidential and security sources, Bawa was released on Wednesday night.
In June, the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) said in a statement signed by Willie Bassey, Director of Information, that the ex-EFCC boss’ suspension resulted from “weighty allegations of abuse of office leveled against him.”
