Federal High Court Grants ₦5m Bail to Justice Crack With Strict Conditions
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted bail to Chidebere Justice, popularly known as Justice Crack, in the sum of ₦5 million with one surety in like sum.
PulseNets learnt that Justice Abdulmalik, while delivering ruling on the bail application filed by the defendant, held that the surety must reside within the jurisdiction of the court at a fixed address for a minimum period of four years.
The court further directed that the surety must provide valid proof of residence through either a tenancy agreement or a certificate of occupancy, which must be deposited at the court registry.
PulseNets reported that the court also ruled that the surety must be a federal civil servant not below Grade Level 15 and must provide evidence of at least three months’ salary payment.
In addition, the surety is expected to present a letter of authentication from the immediate head of department alongside proof of pensionable employment as part of the bail conditions.

The court further ordered the surety to depose to an affidavit of means and submit a recent passport photograph, while the defendant is to deposit his international passport with the court.
