The Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has unveiled the voting process for the next general elections as part of its preparations.

On Sunday, a message on the Commission’s verified Twitter account included the disclosure.

The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, or BVAS, would use facial or finger-print recognition for authentication, according to the Commission.

Voting begins at 8:30am, according to INEC, when voters show their Permanent Voter Cards, or PVCs, for BVAS accreditation.

Voters would be permitted to leave or remain 300 meters away to observe the sorting and counting of ballots, according to the statement’s additional details.
