JAMB Releases 1.26 Million 2026 UTME Results for April 17 and 18 Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, 2026.

In a statement obtained by PulseNets and issued by its Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who also signed as OrgExpert, the examination body disclosed that a total of 1,264,940 results from the two days are now available for candidates to access and review.

Earlier, Benjamin had urged candidates to brace themselves both emotionally and mentally ahead of the official release of the results.

“Good day, Dear 2026 UTME candidates. The results of those who sat for the examination on Friday, 17th and Saturday, 18th April 2026 will be released within the next three hours. Please be prepared emotionally and mentally to check your results,” Benjamin said.

Candidates seeking to check their 2026 UTME results are required to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.

PulseNets learnt that the Board had previously released 632,752 results of candidates who wrote the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

With the latest update, the total number of UTME results released so far has risen to 1,897,692.
