YENAGOA —Mr Francis Biobarakuma, may pick the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, on Monday, to contest the 2023 Nembe constituency III race for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, PulseNets reports.
Biobarakuma had earlier declared his intention to run for the position to represent Nembe constituency III on the 28th of last month.
But a close ally of Biobarakuma told PulseNets that the proactive and devoted youth leader has concluded plans to pick the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest on Monday.
The source said Biobarakuma will travel to Delta to attend an event on Friday and will return on Sunday so he can pick up the forms on Monday.
The source, who spoke in confidence, said: “I am talking to you as a friend that he (Biobarakuma) may likely pick the form on Monday after he returns from a journey to Delta state for a charity organisation event.
We are already making arrangement for Monday, I believe it won’t exceed Monday. The people of Nembe constituency III are very delighted with his declaration of interest and would want him to represent them at the state chamber and they are going to be present when he picks his form.
We only urge all constituents to register and get their voter’s cards ready for the set time to exercise their franchise.
