Asisat Oshoala has renewed his contract with FC Barcelona until 30 June 2024. The striker, who ended his relationship with the club at the end of the season, has sealed his continuity two more years with the president Joan Laporta and the director Xavier Puig, in the office of president of the Camp Nou.
The 27-year-old Nigerian arrived at Barca on January 31, 2019 and has since shown enormous scoring voracity. In 101 official matches she has scored 80 goals, a figure that makes her the sixth highest scorer in the history of the section. His was the first goal in a Champions League final, in Budapest (2019). At the moment, she is the top scorer of the Primera Iberdrola, with 19 goals in 16 games played.
Despite her youth, she is a true benchmark in world football: she holds the record of awards as African Footballer of the Year (4) and was recently considered the Best African Player of the decade.
