Nigerian superstar, David Adeleke, popularly called Davido has expressed joy as his uncle Senator Ademola Adeleke clinched the governorship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Sen. Adeleke was declared winner on Tuesday by the Chairman of the Osun PDP primary election, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.

Sen. Adeleke polled 1,887 votes to clinch the ticket ahead of the July 16 governorship election.

However, Dele Adeleke, who was contested against Ademola Adeleke polled just one vote.

Reacting, Davido, alongside a screenshot of a video call with Senator Adeleke on Twitter, wrote: “ 001 OSSG LOADING @IsiakaAdeleke1 God is good!

“See you all in the field, GAME TIME!”

Davido in another tweet mocked his cousin, Dele Adeleke, who polled one vote at the PDP primaries.

Responding to a tweet by Dele Adeleke on his withdrawal from the PDP primary race, Davido wrote: “You’re talking to the one person wey vote you abi, I don’t understand which one be all supporters … cousin Dele, frog jump loading.”

Recall that Davido had earlier dragged Dele Adeleke for declaring his intention to contest against his uncle.

According to him, Dele has not been successful in building anything in his life.
