Petroleum workers protest non-payment of salaries
Staff of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) are currently protesting at the head office of the commission in Abuja.
The staff members stormed the office on Tuesday, August 1, wielding placards and chanting different songs as they demanded payment of their seven months’ salary arrears.
They also called on the management of the commission to remit their pension appropriately.
