APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu’s support, according to Bello Shagari, a former president of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, is based on the calibre of the team supporting the former governor of Lagos.
Popular youth activist Shagari expressed his support for Tinubu’s team in a message on his verified Twitter account, emphasising that they can advance the country.
He criticised leaderships that lack political friends, saying they can wind up focusing more on surviving than setting the road for advancement.
He wrote, “I support Tinubu because I believe he has the team and the guts to radically move Nigeria from its present state to a better one.
“I would dislike any leadership short of political allies, grip and persistence, that may end up trying to survive rather than driving development”.
Shagari recently launched a campaign organisation that would guarantee Tinubu’s victory in the upcoming election in February.
