Youths are the pillars on which Nigeria should stand on — Biobarakuma

Francis Biobarakuma on Friday addressed students and youths at the one day symposium for public education on eradicating electoral malpractices and youths inclusion which was organised by the secretary of the Students’ Union Government (SUG), Comr. Uzoamaka Emmanuel with the theme “MY VOTE MY RIGHT” at the Institute of Petroleum Studies, University of Port Harcourt which was chaired by Prof. Hon. Lawrence Chuku.

Biobarakuma who is the Accord Party (AP) flag bearer for the Nembe Constituency 3 House of Assembly seat in his addressed encourage Nigerian youths to prioritise  education saying “Education is the key to sustainable development in any given society, no country can be developed without proper and quality education”.

“Youth’s must be intentional about their growth and not leave it to chance. Intentionality brings focus and direction, and gives an individual vision,”  he said in part of his address. Biobarakuma took a little time to talk about nation building and the role youths must play in nation building siting Japan as a case study.

Biobarakuma in part of his address said “youths are the pillars on which this country (Nigeria) should stand on,” noting that youths are the present and future of Nigeria.

In his final statement statement, Biobarakuma spoke about character and how foreign countries sees Nigeria as a corrupt nation as a result of the fraudulent activities carried out by youths, citizens and politicians alike, noting that character is whats defines ones personality. “The need for character development cannot be overemphasised, because a man without character is like a snake without venom, he is useless to the society,” he said.
