2026 UTME: Ekiti Candidate Owoeye Daniella Emerges Overall Best With 372

An indigene of Ekiti State, Owoeye Daniella Jesudusin, has emerged as the highest scorer in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The candidate, who sat for the 2026 UTME in Ogun State, scored 372 and selected Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Lagos as her preferred course of study.

Closely trailing her was Enwere Kingsley Ikenna, who emerged as the first runner-up with a score of 370. PulseNets learnt that Ikenna, an indigene of Imo State, sat for the examination in Lagos State and applied to study Computer Science at Nile University.

Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel secured the second runner-up position after scoring 369 in the examination. PulseNets reported that the Ondo State indigene sat for the UTME in Ogun State and applied to study Software Engineering at Federal University of Technology Abeokuta.

Five candidates, including Olabiyisi Olanrewaju Oluwatimileyin, Victor-Onyeka Danlel lfeanyi, Osaglobare Danlel Osahenrumwen, Ademiluyi Adebowale Anthony, and Azuike Kenechukwu Anthony, scored 368 each to occupy the fourth position in the national ranking.

Similarly, four candidates namely Offorkile Michael Okechukwu, Adebisi Enlola Sonari, Umukoro Gift Oghenevovwero, and Ononuju Chidumebi Emmanuel recorded 367 each to emerge in the fifth position category.

The identities of the top-performing candidates were disclosed by Is-haq Oloyede during his presentation at the 2026 Policy Meeting of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

“Prof. Oloyede congratulated the candidates, and maintained that the UTME is a ranking test/examination, stressing that JAMB is committed to ensure standards and credibility of the examination system.”
