6. Some opposition lawmakers in the House of Representatives have said they were not interested in the impeachment threats against President Muhammadu Buhari. 7. President Muhammadu Buhari said yesterday it was instructive that Nigeria was attracting positive international attention as a country promoting media freedom and freedom of expression. According to his media aide, Femi Adesina, Buhari said this while pledging his “full support” for three major international events scheduled to hold in Nigeria in October and November 2022.

8. The Federal Government has said it would no longer succumb to any form of blackmail and intimidation that will make it enter into agreement with unions that will be difficult to implement.
