Following his retirement from football, John Obi Mikel, a former Chelsea midfielder, has received a message from Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa.
Musa, who just joined Sivasspor of Turkey, wished Mikel Obi further success while praising his leadership abilities.
According to the former Leicester City star, Mikel Obi was a model athlete.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Musa wrote: “You have been an exemplary player and done great things in your career.
“Here’s wishing you the best as you retire today. Cheers to bigger things ahead and best wishes to you and the family.”
