Ooni of Ife will wed two additional women before turning 48 in October.

Barely a month after the Ooni of Ife Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, married his fourth wife, Olori Mariam Anako from Ebira land in Kogi State, the monarch is set to take two more wives in October.

Ahead of his 48th birthday celebration, Oba Adeyeye will marry two more wives, Tobi Phillips, and Princess Ashley Adegoke.

Tobi Phillips was a former Beauty Queen and a graduate of Marine Science from Lagos State University, while Princess Queen Ashley is a chartered accountant and founder of an NGO, Ashley Adegoke Foundation.

Oba Adeyeye was married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008 before being crowned in 2016, however the union ended after the coronation.

Following her coronation, Ooni wed Zainab-Otiti Obanor, an Edo native, in 2016. The couple was together for 17 months until divorcing and being married to Naomi Silekunola in 2018.

Ooni’s latest union comes ten months after Queen Naomi Silekunola announced on social media that she will be leaving the throne in December 2021. The three-year failing union gave birth to Tadenikawo, a son.
