“Who’s attempting to cover it up” — Suleman asks police for killing a suspect

The police killed one of the individuals who attacked Apostle Suleman’s motorcade on Friday, and he expressed disappointment in the police in a statement from the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide.

According to PulseNets, unidentified gunmen ambushed the popular clergyman’s convoy on Friday in Auchi, Edo State, on the Warake route, killing at least seven people, including police officers.

One of the suspects’ lifeless body was visible in a viral video. In the footage, an officer reported that a gunfight with the attackers resulted in the death of the criminal element.

“This is one of the kidnappers that was caught today while the DPO, Ayodele Lamido led the operations.

“This one was gunned down after a fierce gun battle, while others escaped with bullet wounds”, he said.

The Apostle, however, refuted the assertion on his verified Twitter account by stating that the suspect had been apprehended and turned over to the police.

The clergyman berated the police for labelling the assailants as kidnappers, despite his insistence that they were assassins.

He felt that the suspect shouldn’t have been shot while being stopped in order to allow for full investigations.

He wrote, “Lies, they weren’t kidnappers. He was caught and handed over and the police killed him immediately. Why? Why killing him on the spot? Who is trying to cover up traces?”
