A popular Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, was confirmed dead on Tuesday evening.
PulseNets reports that the singer died at the age of 27.
Music executive Ovie, who confirmed the sudden death on his social media page, wrote, “Confirmed. MohBad is dead. Sad, sad day.”

According to the source, Mohbad passed out shortly after the injection was administered and, unfortunately, did not wake up.

Mohbad was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s “Marlian Records” but left the label in 2022. He was best known for his hit singles “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” with Rexxie, which was nominated three times for The Headies awards in 2022.
