Donald Trump Informed of Iranian Threats to Assassinate Him

Former President Donald Trump was briefed Tuesday about “real and specific threats” from Iran to assassinate him.

Trump’s campaign said Iran’s aim to assassinate the Republican presidential candidate is part of the Islamic Republic’s efforts to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States.

Steven Cheung, Director, Trump Campaign Communications, made this known in a press release.

Cheung stated that intelligence officials have identified that continued and coordinated attacks against Trump have heightened in the past few months.

The Communications Director disclosed that law enforcement officials across all agencies are working to ensure the formerPresident is protected and the election is free from interference.
