ADC Bayelsa Announces Ward, LGA and State Congresses for May 2026

The African Democratic Congress, ADC Bayelsa State, has officially announced the commencement of its Ward, Local Government Area, and State Congresses, scheduled to hold between Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, 2026, across the state.

According to the announcement obtained by PulseNets, the Ward and LGA Congresses are slated for Friday, May 8, 2026, by 2:00 PM at all designated ward centres across Bayelsa State.

The statement further noted that the State Congress will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, by 11:00 AM.

Details of the Congress Planning Committee, as learnt by PulseNets, include Dr. Tamkivie Udoji Eseimo as Chairman, Mr. Prey Adesi as Secretary, while Hon. Robert Derek, Hon. Bams Otaminaguo Sunday, and Ayibakuro Jenkins Okardi will serve as members.

The party urged all eligible members of the African Democratic Congress in Bayelsa State to participate peacefully and strictly in accordance with the party’s constitution and congress guidelines.

“All eligible members are enjoined to participate peacefully and in line with the Party Constitution and Guidelines for the Congresses,” the statement read.

The announcement was jointly signed by Victor Eritei, State Secretary of ADC Bayelsa State, and Johnny Tovie Derek, State Chairman of ADC Bayelsa State.
