Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza Regains Freedom After One Week in Kidnappers’ Custody
Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza of the Kebbi State High Court has regained his freedom after spending about one week in the custody of his abductors, PulseNets learnt.
His release was confirmed on Monday by a member of his family, who disclosed that the judge returned home safely earlier in the day.
The family member described Justice Bunza’s return as a moment of gratitude and celebration after days of uncertainty.
“We are filled with joy and gratitude to God for bringing him back safely. It has been a difficult one week, but today our family is celebrating his return,” the source told PulseNets.
The family also expressed appreciation to the Kebbi State Judiciary, security agencies, friends and residents for their unwavering support throughout the period of the abduction.
