APC Directs Bayelsa Support Groups to Register on Tinubu Campaign Portal Before October 22

Mr. Amunaboye Clement, Esq., popularly known as Amoro, Deputy Zonal Coordinator of the Support Groups Coordination Committee, South-South 2, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has directed all support groups and volunteer networks in Bayelsa State backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid to register or revalidate their membership on the council’s new online portal.

The registration portal, www.pccsupportgroups.com, is scheduled to close on Thursday, October 22, 2026, leaving participating groups with a limited window to complete the exercise.

Clement issued the directive in Yenagoa on Monday, following his attendance at the official launch of the portal at the National Secretariat of the President Tinubu Support Group in Abuja on Sunday.

At the launch, Hon. Silas Agara, Director of the Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate of the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council and former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, disclosed that the portal went live on Saturday, October 17, and would remain open for only five days.

Agara explained that the registration exercise forms part of the council’s grassroots mobilisation strategy targeting more than 10,000 support groups nationwide.

According to him, the initiative is designed to enable the directorate to verify existing groups, assess their geographical distribution and determine their operational capacity ahead of intensified campaign activities.

He emphasised that all support groups must register within the stipulated period, irrespective of whether they had previously registered with the APC or other campaign structures.

Clement Calls for Full Participation in Bayelsa

Speaking to journalists in Yenagoa, Clement warned against inadequate representation of Bayelsa State in the ongoing registration exercise, urging all support groups and volunteer networks supporting President Tinubu to comply with the directive before the deadline.

He explained that every group must be captured on the new portal within the five-day registration window, stressing that previous registration would not exempt any organisation from the process.

Clement noted that registration through the portal would determine which groups were formally recognised by the presidential campaign council.

He further argued that Bayelsa’s representation on the platform should reflect the state’s consistent support for President Tinubu.

The APC campaign official called on support group leaders across the state’s local government areas to mobilise their members and ensure they completed the registration or revalidation process without delay.

He also urged coordinators to provide assistance to members in riverine and remote communities who might encounter internet access challenges during the exercise.

Zonal Committee Assures Groups of Support

Clement assured support groups that the Zonal Committee would collaborate with state coordinators to ensure that genuine organisations were not left out of the registration process before the deadline.

He urged coordinators to treat the exercise as a priority and ensure that all eligible members and groups were properly captured on the platform.

Support groups and volunteer networks in Bayelsa State can register or revalidate their membership through www.pccsupportgroups.com before the portal closes on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
