Germany International, Sami Khedira has recalled his time together with Cristiano Ronaldo, first at Real Madrid and later at Juventus.
Both players played together at two big different club sides and Khedira is just one of the few players to have done that.
Khedira spent five years at Real Madrid between 2010-2015, within which he won a Champions League trophy, a La Liga and a number of other titles.
And during that period the midfielder played alongside Ronaldo, and later linked back up with him at Juventus where they also won titles together.
“I met two Cristianos, the first at Real Madrid, a little younger and maybe a little more insecure and selfish,” he told Diario AS.
“Not in a bad way, but he had to find his personality. He scored many, many goals and was fantastic, but did not have so much influence on the team.
“Then, in my second experience with Cristiano, at Juventus, he ends up coming to the team and he has the same selfishness, which is the selfishness of scoring, but with more leadership,” he said.
Cristiano Ronaldo suddenly left Juventus and made a shocking return to Manchester United in the summer of 2021.
