In the earlier hours of Wednesday, heavy gunshots were heard at APC Rivers state secretariat, Evo road.
PulseNets learnt there was clash between the two factions in the state. PulseNets had earlier reported that a faction of the APC led by Amaechi had endorsed business mogul Tonye Cole as a consensus candidate while Magnus Abe rejected the moved and picked his nomination form.
An eye witness told PulseNets that the incident happened at the APC office and must be related to delegate list for the upcoming primaries. The eyewitness told PulseNets one person was killed in the process.
