Atiku and PDP to Summon 100 Witnesses to Strengthen Presidential Petition

INEC ‘rigged’ Atiku out in presidential election, witnesses tells election petition court

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, along with his party, has announced their intention to summon up to 100 witnesses to testify in their case before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC).

PulseNets reports that their lawyer, Chris Uche (SAN), revealed this during the court proceedings today (Saturday).

Uche stated that the anticipated 100 witnesses would include both those already listed and those to be subpoenaed for the case.

In response, the legal representative for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shared that their client intends to call upon two witnesses.

Meanwhile, President-elect Bola Tinubu’s legal team plans to present 39 witnesses in addition to those to be subpoenaed.

Additionally, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has outlined its strategy to bring forward 25 witnesses in addition to those who will be subpoenaed.
