President Muhammadu Buhari arrived back in Abuja on Friday after attending the First World Bio Summit in Seoul, South Korea.
The presidential plane carrying Buhari and his entourage landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 4:10 a.m. on Friday, according to NAN.
Buhari submitted Nigeria’s declaration at the conference while in Seoul, in which he underlined the country’s preparedness to become a worldwide centre for sustainable manufacturing and distribution of biological drugs and vaccines to assist measures to keep people safe.
On the fringes of the conference in Seoul, the Nigerian president met with Ban Ki-Moon, former UN Secretary-General, and the African Group of Ambassadors accredited to Korea.
Buhari supported for increasing Korean investment in Nigeria in order to help both countries economically.
He was present when Daewoo Group and Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding to repair the Kaduna refinery.
At the end of the summit on Thursday, Buhari had an interactive meeting with the leadership and chosen Nigerian community members before leaving Seoul.
