Port Harcourt — In a heartfelt celebration, Honourable Caroline Sata-Owugha, a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the women of Nembe Local Government have honoured the 49th birthday of Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC). Describing him as a “rare gem” and an “exceptional leader,” they commended his significant contributions to the Niger Delta region and Nigeria at large.
Hon. Caroline, a respected figure in Bayelsa State, expressed the immense pride and gratitude that the people of the Niger Delta, particularly those from Bayelsa, feel towards Dr. Ogbuku. She lauded his leadership, which she described as a beacon of hope and progress for the region. According to her, Dr. Ogbuku’s tenure at the helm of the NDDC has been nothing short of transformative, restoring faith in the commission’s mission to uplift the Niger Delta.

Caroline. “His leadership is a testament to what can be achieved when there is a genuine commitment to the development of our people.”
She went on to highlight several key projects that have been executed under Dr. Ogbuku’s administration, emphasizing their direct impact on the lives of the people in the Niger Delta. Caroline continued. “The road construction projects have improved access to remote areas, solar lights have brought electricity to places that were once in darkness, and the employment programs have provided much-needed opportunities for our women and youth.”
One of the standout achievements of Dr. Ogbuku’s administration, according to Hon. Caroline, is the Niger Delta Stakeholders Summit, a forum that brought together key players in the region to discuss and strategize on its future development. She noted that this summit has been instrumental in fostering collaboration and ensuring that the voices of the people are heard in the decision-making process.
