FUAB Opens 2025/2026 Admission for UTME Candidates — Full List of Courses and Requirements
The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has officially opened applications for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement obtained by PulseNets and signed by the Registrar on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Reginald Inodu Keremah, all JAMB/UTME candidates who scored 150 and above are invited to apply for admission into the university’s accredited programmes across its four faculties.
The Vice-Chancellor, while reaffirming FUAB’s commitment to academic excellence, told PulseNets, “We are building an institution that will nurture both intellect and innovation in agriculture, technology, and environmental sciences. Every prospective student who meets our requirements is welcome to be part of this vision.”
Application Process
Prospective candidates are required to complete a “Change of Institution” to Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) through the official JAMB portal, following all approved steps and guidelines.
However, the university has emphasized that meeting the minimum UTME cut-off mark or completing the change process does not automatically guarantee admission. Applicants must also satisfy the specific requirements for their chosen programmes and pass the university’s internal screening exercise.
A university admissions officer spoke to PulseNets, saying, “Admission will be strictly based on merit, compliance with JAMB procedures, and successful participation in our post-UTME screening.”
