Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, has pledged to put an end to insecurity in Nigeria.

For the development of the North and the nation, Tinubu committed to ensure complete exploration of the oil deposits in the Benue trough and Chad basin.

On Monday, the former Lagos governor addressed at a gathering in Kaduna with certain Northern organisations.

The Chad Basin, the Benue Trough, and other potential places in the North, according to the APC flagbearer, have an abundance of oil and gas.

The ongoing Abuja-Kaduna-Kano and trans-Saharan gas pipeline projects will be finished, according to Tinubu.

“I acknowledge the primacy of security as the number one function of government”, NAN quoted him saying.

“My administration will give it all the necessary attention and consolidate on the recent investments.”

Tinubu stated that as governor, he implemented numerous programmes, including the Security Trust Fund, to address many of the security forces’ demands.

The APC co-founder went on to say that he restored order, averted an ethnic war, and made Lagos one of the safest states in the country.

The politician further assured that all elements threatening peace, security and unity will be dealt with.

“I guarantee you, we will end kidnapping and banditry”, he promised.
