Israel James Resigns From APC, Cites Personal Convictions and Public Service

Israel James has formally resigned his membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abak Urban 1 Ward, Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, according to a resignation letter obtained by PulseNets.

In the letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of the APC in Abak Urban 1, Israel James said his decision followed “careful consideration and reflection” on his personal convictions and commitment to public service.

The resignation, which takes immediate effect, adds to the growing wave of political realignments being witnessed across party structures in Akwa Ibom State ahead of future political activities.

“I write to formally notify you of my resignation from membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC), effective immediately,” the letter stated.

Israel James further explained that he believes taking a different political path would enable him to contribute more meaningfully to community development and the welfare of the people.

“This decision follows careful consideration and reflection on my personal convictions and my commitment to public service,” he wrote.

“At this point, I believe it is necessary for me to take a different path in order to continue contributing meaningfully to the development of our community and the well-being of our people.”

He also appreciated the leadership and members of the party for the support and experiences gained during his time in the APC.

“I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to have been part of the party and the support extended to me during my time as a member,” the letter added.

“I remain grateful for the experiences and relationships built along the way.”

The former APC member urged the ward leadership to accept the correspondence as his official notice of resignation while wishing the party success in its future activities.

“Kindly accept this letter as my official notice of resignation. I wish you and the party success.”
