Moises Caicedo is dismissed by Brighton following an offer from Chelsea and Arsenal

Moises Caicedo won’t be allowed to practise for Brighton until the end of the transfer window.

This comes after Chelsea and Arsenal both made approaches to sign the South American.

On Friday, the player’s transfer request for £60 million from the Gunners was turned down outright.

Chelsea did not submit a follow-up offer after their initial £55 million bid was also rejected.

Caicedo, who wants to force a transfer away from Brighton, made his intentions known to the team in a statement posted on Friday.

The Athletic reports that Caicedo has been warned by Brighton managers to avoid the practise field, indicating that it looks they have no plans to let him leave.

The fourth-round FA Cup match between Brighton and Liverpool on Sunday will not include the South American.
