A police investigation into the death of a little boy has started in Lagos.
The child allegedly received some shots in a hospital in Ogombo, where he later passed away.
The incident has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba, according to Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin.
The official acknowledged that the deceased’s father had not yet released a statement.
“The hospital staff also came to the station without making any statement.
“They were transferred to the state CID for proper investigation”, Hundeyin told NAN.
A father complained in a viral video about how a nurse gave his youngster four injections.
The father asserted that the youngster received medication injections as well and that each one caused him to throw up.
The father can be seen sobbing next to the child’s body as it is being carried on a stretcher in the footage.
