BREAKING: Human Rights Group Uncovers 95 Oyigbo #EndSARS Detainees Secretly Held in Kaduna Prisons
Oyigbo Abductions Unveiled: Intersociety Reveals 95 #EndSARS Protesters from Oyigbo and Orlu Secretly Detained in Kaduna Prisons, Sparks Fresh Outrage Over Hidden Crackdown
PulseNets has learnt from a shocking revelation by the International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety) that 95 residents of Oyigbo and Orlu, mostly of Igbo origin, have been discovered in Kaduna prisons, years after being allegedly abducted in the aftermath of the October 2020 #EndSARS protests.
The human rights group reported that its field investigators recently traced the detainees—six women and eighty-nine men—to Kaduna, where they were allegedly held without public knowledge. PulseNets obtained confirmation from Intersociety officials that the arrests were carried out during the security clampdown in Oyigbo, Rivers State, with the knowledge of then-Governor Nyesom Wike.

Intersociety’s disclosure underscores growing concerns about the handling of #EndSARS-related arrests and the plight of missing protesters. Rights groups have repeatedly accused authorities of operating outside due process, while families continue to seek justice for their missing loved ones.
The organization urged immediate international intervention, insisting that “these findings expose the scale of secret detentions and unlawful killings linked to the 2020 #EndSARS crackdown.”
