Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, will prevail in the 2023 election, according to Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
In a statement, Tambuwal promised that Atiku will unlock Nigeria’s closed borders.
The PDP Presidential Campaign Council’s Director General is the Sokoto helmsman (PCC).
At the party’s political event in Illela Local Government Area on Saturday, he said.
Atiku has superior ideas for Nigerians and the nation, Tambuwal informed the populace.
“These include reopening of the borders, addressing insecurity and the provision of basic necessities for Nigerians,” he said.
However, Tambuwal voiced concern for the residents of Illela who had been the target of several bandit attacks.
The governor said that his administration did well despite the setbacks, the economic downturn, and the COVID-19 effects.
He mentioned that other initiatives were carried out in the areas of social intervention, water supply, healthcare, and education.
