Tambuwal Says Tinubu Losing Sleep Over ADC, Claims Atiku’s Coalition Is Rattling APC

Former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) are becoming increasingly unsettled by the growing influence of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Tambuwal also claimed that despite what he described as repeated attempts by the APC to frustrate the ADC, those efforts have continued to fail.

He made the remarks while receiving the immediate past Chairman of Tangaza Local Government Area, Isa Salihu Bashir Kalanjeni, into the ADC following his resignation from the APC. During the event, Tambuwal referred to Tinubu as an outgoing president.

“President Bola Tinubu, who is leaving office, has been staying up late because of the ADC. Everywhere he turns, he sees Atiku Abubakar.

“They have kept trying to stop the ADC from being made public, but God has prevented those plans from working.”

Tambuwal further criticised the Federal Government, saying it has failed to adequately tackle the country’s worsening insecurity and other pressing national challenges.

According to him, many politicians have remained reluctant to join the ADC because of concerns over the political consequences of leaving the ruling APC.

“Most politicians who leave the ruling APC join other political parties instead of joining the ADC.

“Only people who care about the country’s interests, not their own, will join the ADC,” he said.
