Timilehin Ajayi Remanded After Shocking Discovery of NYSC Member’s Severed Head
A Nasarawa State High Court has remanded gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi after the severed head of Salome Adaidu, a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was discovered in his possession.
This shocking revelation came to light when Caleb Umaru, the General Secretary and Bible Study Teacher at Ajayi’s church, reported his suspicions about the singer’s behaviour. Speaking to PulseNets, Umaru highlighted that Ajayi’s recent actions raised alarms within the congregation.
According to a statement released by the Nasarawa State Police Command on Friday, a church member observed Ajayi discarding a bag into a river. The bag was retrieved and found to contain Adaidu’s severed head. The discovery has left the community in disbelief.
Ajayi later confessed to killing Adaidu, claiming infidelity as his motive. However, the deceased’s family, in conversations with PulseNets, strongly disputed this narrative. They categorically denied any romantic relationship between Adaidu and Ajayi, accusing him of kidnapping and murdering her.
