Transfer: Messi to decide PSG future after World Cup

Don't take on Ronaldo in the Saudi derby —Juninho advises Messi on club to join

According to the UK Sun, forward for Paris Saint-Germain Lionel Messi will make a decision about his future after the 2022 World Cup.

The 35-year-old hasn’t had any firm offers from any clubs, though, to date.

When Messi transferred from Barcelona to PSG in the summer of 2021, he signed a two-year contract.

Given that the deal is due to expire at the conclusion of this season, there hasn’t been any discussion about an extension so far.

It has been rumoured that the Ligue 1 winners desire to extend Messi’s contract by one year, but no such offer has been made as of yet.

Despite having a challenging first season in France, Messi has six goals and eight assists in the first 11 games of the current season.
