The UK government plans to repatriate a Nigerian student accused of communicating with ISIS with the intent to bomb a Scottish university.
The British Government is set to deport a Nigerian student, Somtochukwu Okwuoha, who threatened to blow up Dundee University in Scotland.
PulseNets understands that Okwuoha, a 26-years-old Masters student at the institution, was sentenced to 40 months in jail by the Perth Sheriff Court in the UK on Friday.
Okwuoha was handed the sentence after being found guilty of making terrorism threats against staff and students of the school. He will also be deported.
The international student claimed to have a military background and the capability to make bombs and unleash a deadly virus on the city.
According to witnesses, Okwuoha claimed to have “enlisted the terror group ISIS to help bomb the university” and informed the school staff of his plan to “target the city in a chemical attack”.
Sheriff William Wood told the convict: “Your presence in the United Kingdom is not conducive to the public good, and I make a recommendation for your deportation in due course.”

Okwuoha, who was said to have threatened a fellow female student who refused his advances, was informed by the Sheriff, “You were abusive towards her and tried to have her removed from her university course.”
“The university decided to suspend you from your course, and you turned your attention towards staff,” he added.
