A House of Representatives member from Rivers state, Boma Goodhead, has accused Nyesom Wike of masterminding the murder of Bako Angbashim, a Divisional Police Officer in Ahoada East local government area of the state.
Goodhead, the federal lawmaker representing Asari-Toru Federal Constituency in the state, made the allegation in a viral video on social media.
The 53-year-old Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asked security agencies to bring in Wike, the immediate past governor of Rivers state, for questioning on the death of Angbashim.
The DPO was killed during a gunfight with a cult gang on Friday, September 8.
The police have since paraded his suspected killers, but Goodhead insists Wike should be held responsible for the incident.
The federal lawmaker, the sister to former militant leader Asari Dokubo, also alleged that Wike lost his polling unit during the presidential election.
She further accused Wike of looting $300 million meant for the Ogoni people, describing the FCT minister as ”a pathological and demonic liar.”
