Akpabio Withdraws All Lawsuits Against Natasha and Others After New Year Sermon
Senate President Godswill Akpabio has instructed his legal team to drop all ongoing lawsuits against Senator Natasha and other individuals, PulseNets has learnt.
The directive was reportedly given during a New Year service held at Sacred Heart Parish in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Akpabio, according to sources who spoke to PulseNets, had previously filed nearly nine court cases against individuals he accused of defaming and slandering him.
“I had almost nine cases in court against some individuals who defamed me, who lied against me and slandered my name. But as I listened to the priest, I suddenly realised he was speaking to me,” Akpabio told PulseNets.
The Senate President added that the sermon prompted him to reconsider his stance, ultimately leading to a decision to forgive the parties involved.
