Senator Abdullahi Adamu is listed as the second in leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in a new list that was published by the council on Wednesday night.
Remember how the previous PCC list that was announced caused some controversy and drew the ire of several important party figures?
There are strong indications that the National Working Committee, or NWC, of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has effectively penetrated the party’s campaign council.
President Muhammadu Buhari was retained as the Chairman of the Council in the list, which was signed by the party’s National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore. The party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was listed as the Deputy Chairman II in the list of 422-members.
Adamu and Tinubu have now switched places.
Kashim Shettima, who was his running mate, is still the vice chairman of the council.
But Simon Lalong, the governor of Plateau State, continues in his role as director general, with James Faleke serving as secretary and Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as deputy director-general for operations.
