Former Governor and immediate past Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, has emerged the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Bayelsa State.
The election which held yesterday and lingered till today has seen the Bayelsa state APC leader emerge as the winner, Chief David Lyon, who was the APC governorship candidate in the 2019 election that won the general election and was disqualified at the Supreme Court over his running mate a day before swearing-in ceremony.
