At the age of 82, Brazilian football star Pelé passed away.
On Thursday night, his demise was reported by his family.
The legendary football player is recognised as one of the sport’s all-time greats.
Since having surgery to remove a tumour from his intestines back in September 2021, Pele has been getting routine medical care.
But at the end of 2022, he was readmitted to the hospital.
