PulseNets has learned of a confirmed development regarding the kidnapping of a TV crew en route to cover the Super Eagles’ match against Libya in Uyo.
According to reports, the crew, working for Padmozi, owned by Mike Itamagbor, was abducted yesterday at 3 p.m. in Ihiala.
PulseNets was informed that the Nigerian Army and security services immediately launched a pursuit of the kidnappers.
Tragically, the bus driver and one security detail were killed at the scene, while the rest of the crew remained unaccounted for at the time.

This morning, seven members of the crew were rescued by the Nigerian Army. PulseNets spoke to sources who confirmed that “everyone is out, one with a gunshot wound, but everyone is good.”
