A Magistrate Court in Wuse, Abuja, has directed the remand of two siblings of Dr Paul Enenche, Mr. Enenche Enenche and Alexander Enenche, alongside Pastor Abraham Daniel, to the Keffi Custodial Centre in Nasarawa State.
Alexander and Enenche Enenche are brothers of Pastor Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Church. Pastor Abraham Daniel is reportedly a former pastor at the same church.
PulseNets learned that the trio was transferred to the Keffi Custodial Centre of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) on Monday evening. The remand followed an order secured by the Nigerian Police Force from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja.
Prior to their transfer, Mr. Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche, and Abraham Daniel had complied with a police invitation. They were held in police custody until the evening, according to PulseNets.
PulseNets reported that on January 8, 2025, the Intelligence Department of the Nigerian Police released the brothers on bail. However, their initial arrest occurred on January 7, 2025, over allegations of cyberbullying and criminal defamation against Pastor Paul Enenche. The Bureau Newspaper previously reported that they were released the following day after an agreement to settle the matter amicably.
PulseNets also gathered that Alex Enenche and Abraham Daniel have been instructed to report to the Force Intelligence Department (FID) on Friday, January 10, 2025, and Monday, January 13, 2025, respectively.
SaharaReporters disclosed that Daniel and Alexander Enenche were detained by the FID after they appeared in response to a police invitation. Upon reporting to the Force Headquarters on Monday, the source stated, “They were held in police custody until this evening and then presented with a remand order from a Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6 this night to be remanded in prison.”
PulseNets learnt from the source that the Nigerian Police had obtained a remand order from the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 6, Abuja.
“The name of the Magistrate and the number of days are currently unknown,” the source told PulseNets.
“As of now, Mr. Enenche Enenche, Alexander Enenche (brothers of Pastor Paul Enenche), and Abraham Daniel (a former Pastor at Dunamis Church) have been remanded at Keffi Prison,” the source added.

Meanwhile, PulseNets gathered that a fundamental rights application is expected to be filed in court.
