Aliko Dangote, the head of Dangote Refinery, has announced that petrol will be available at his facility within the next 48 hours, PulseNets has learned.
During a press briefing on Tuesday, Mr. Dangote spoke to PulseNets, revealing plans for the inaugural release of fuel from the $20 billion refinery located in Lagos.
He stated that the refinery, which boasts a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, is in the process of formalizing arrangements with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) before the petrol can be supplied to the market.
“Our PMS can be in filling stations within the next 48 hours, depending on NNPCL,” Mr. Dangote told PulseNets.
