Davido Reacts as APC Leaders Storm Osogbo for Osun Governorship Rally

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the arrival of top All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, ahead of the party’s governorship campaign mega rally.

PulseNets learnt that Senate President Godswill Akpabio, APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and several governors elected on the platform of the ruling party are in Osun State to participate in the campaign rally ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The APC leaders have expressed their determination to secure victory for the party in the Saturday poll.

PulseNets also learnt that some of the APC governors, including Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, arrived in Osogbo on Wednesday night.

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, had welcomed the APC leaders to the state in a post shared on his official X account.

However, Davido, while sharing Oyetola’s post on X, dismissed the possibility of the APC winning the Osun governorship election.

The singer suggested that even the presence of all 12 disciples of Jesus Christ would not change the expected outcome of the election.

“If you like gather Jesus 12 disciples o ma LULE for the 3rd time”, Davido wrote.

Davido’s uncle and incumbent Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, is seeking re-election under the Accord Party.
